first Halloween

Here is Alice Wonderful as a frog for her first Halloween-she stayed home and helped hand out candy-her mom said she could grab all the yellow colored ones from the bowl-apparently she has a fondness for yellow! She is four months old now and almost 13 pounds. She is a sweet wonderful baby!
I unearthed her daddy's first quilt I made and gave it to them for her-it was a big hit but I forgot to take a photo of it! Next week ....I babysit on Wednesday nights and left work early to get in play time-she is now going to bed an hour earlier. There is something so heart melting about having a baby fall asleep in your arms..and she does that for me every time. Of course I hold her for as long as possible ....too bad her parents came home early and I had to put her in her crib. As she was out for the night-I went on home, after a short visit with my son and dil.

WHat a sweetie! I have no little babies among my grandchildren any more but I sure wish I did. The youngest (nearly 3) lives in Astralia so I didn't get much baby holding time with him.

she is adorable, Cher--look at that sweet smile.

There was something left of that quilt after Daddy finished with it? Daddy must have recognized it for sure but you had to explain to Mommy what that old thing was?

How sweet she looks in her costume! And I agree there's nothing quite like have a baby fall asleep in your arms. Or better yet to nap on the couch with a baby nestled in the crook of your arm. I don't have kids myself but I have many nieces and nephews. :-)

Awww, love those frog toes on her feet! I love them that age, big enough to make eye contact and smile and interact with you but not walking and grabbing and getting into trouble. :)

Love how your 49er wallhanging turned out! You've done a terrific job.

Oh my goodness, is she adorable or what???? A perfect little froggie..*VBS*

So glad you are getting the "lovin" time in with her on a regular basis. I had little opportunity to do that, and it sure does make a difference.
Lucky you...lucky Alice! Hugs, Finn

Oh my gosh, on TV last night (local access I think) there was a similarly clad baby, but the momma safety pinned a pillow to the back & since the baby was crawling, she looked like a turtle!
