photo of some shopping

Jeanne-here is a little of what I bought-can't put up the grandbaby stuff until it is not a surprise :-)

oh, notice the buttons? someone within the blog rings has been a bad influence!

think...some type of primitive wall hanging with embroidered words....or maybe something else entirely!

I have cleaned up, cleared up my sewing area in here-so tonight when I get back, I can do all the prep for my class tomorrow. I am taking beyond the rail fence with Billie Lauder...so, part of that prep is finishing those blocks I made a while ago. I was up until midnight last night, tonight...who knows??? So, if you hear a sewing machine in your sleep, think of me.

Hi Cher, what an interesting pile of purchases..*VBG* I love that you bought buttons..hmmmmmm?

I too, am feeling the need of a "push" to get the sewing space back into some form of sanity..*G*

Have my errands run for this weekend, and now it belongs to me.
Have a ball in your Billie Lauder class, I'll be anxious to see the result, Hugs, Finn

That blue fabric looks a bit like your "Over the Edge" wall hanging. I like that bright orange too.

You didn't already have a button collection? I thought everybody did!

Oh Cher! Those buttons are so fun! Where did you find them packaged like that! Did you see Judy's really fun Nama's quilt with the button center flowers on Quilting with Ragdolls: http://ragdollquilting.blogspot.com I really like it! Your fabric is awesome also!

Love the orange dots- I'm a sucker for orange! So cheerful. If you have to be up late, can't think of anything nicer to be doing than sewing!

Well, that is a nice little collection to show for your days outing. I like how the fat quarters match that stripe - pretty! Looking forward to seeing a button project.

Cheers!

I love those oranges. I just picked up a beautiful clear green from that same line. I found those buttons packaged like that at a quilt shop near here. Two or three packs of them followed me home, too! Now to get busy and use them!

Have fun in your rail class with Billie!!

I love buttons on quilts but have yet to use them myself. I have talked my sister into using buttons on 2 of her quilts does that count?

I've only used buttons on one quilt, but I also created a button stash. It's good to know you have them if you need them. LOL.

Lovely purchases. I like buttons and I have a nice little collection, but I am not so good at using them other than on my pillows. They are nice to look at though :-)
